Host Options¶

These options configure behaviour in the Host editor Properties field. They apply to dissemination, acquisition and proxy hosts and use the ecpds., master., proxy. and upload. prefixes.
ecpds.* — Data Mover Allocation¶
These options select which OpenECPDS Data Movers should handle a given type of transfer. Each option accepts a value spanning multiple lines. Every line uses this format:

master.* — Virtual FTP Access¶

proxy.* — Continental Data Mover / Proxy¶
These options apply when a host uses a Continental Data Mover or proxy path.

proxy.root | String | none | The Continental Data Mover's own [Login] root setting (falls back to its hostName if root isn't set there). Required so the Master Server can tell which Continental Data Mover this Proxy Host points to — used for its "Live ECPDS Earth" marker (shown persistently, even with no current traffic) and for shifting a dissemination arc to start from the Continental Data Mover once a file is sent from there. If left empty and this is the only enabled Proxy Host, its own address is used instead since there is no other candidate; with more than one enabled Proxy Host, this must be set on each one or the unconfigured ones simply won't get a marker |

upload.* — Upload Rate Control (Dissemination Hosts)¶
These options control dissemination upload rates and slow-transfer handling.
